Our journey began with our first business, Barkingus.com, where we dipped our toes into the world of pet-focused eCommerce. It was a learning experience — one that helped us discover what truly matters to people like us: capturing the joy, loyalty, and unique personality of the pets we love.

That realization led us to create Pawtrait House — a brand dedicated to turning your pet into art. Whether it’s a custom canvas, a cozy hoodie, or a unique accessory, everything we offer is designed to honor the deep bond between humans and their animals.

And speaking of pets… meet Brownie, one of our owner's beloved dogs and the quiet co-founder of this entire operation. Brownie is a miniature poodle with a big personality — curious, expressive, and always ready to pose for a photo (especially if there are treats involved). If you browse through our website, you’ll notice that nearly every product preview features Brownie. His charm, fluff, and signature look became the inspiration and model for our entire product line.

He’s more than just our muse — he reminds us daily of why we do this. Every wag, every cuddle, every goofy moment pets bring into our lives deserves to be remembered.
